President, Value Based Care Divison
Brendan Baker currently serves as HOPCo’s President, Value Based Care Divison. He specializes in the development of the Medical Economics Division’s Clinically Integrated Networks, overseeing contracting with health systems and health plans for carve out global capitation and bundled payment risk for musculoskeletal services, medical economics, and network performance management.
Prior to his current role, Brendan served as the Chief Financial Officer for HOPCo. Before joining HOPCo, Baker served as the CFO for CareMore Health Services, where he played a key role in helping the company grow from $225M to $800M, which was subsequently acquired by Anthem. Previously, Baker served in multiple roles with PacifiCare including CFO for its Western Region, President of Arizona & Nevada markets, and CFO for the Company’s Medicare division, Secure Horizons. During his tenure with PacifiCare the company grew from $400M to $9B and was ultimately acquired by United Health Group.
Baker brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in healthcare finance, general management, population health and risk-based contracting.
