Chief Administration Officer and Chief of Staff
Eric has over 25 years of expertise in the healthcare delivery arena. He has deep knowledge and experience in organizational structure and governance, operations management, human resources, metrics management, physician relations, and building physician alignment strategies with health systems and payors. Eric is a Fellow of the American College for Health Care Executives, and a member of the Medical Group Management Association. His career has included positions with for-profit, not-for-profit, Children’s, Catholic, academic and independent health systems.
Prior to joining HOPCo, Eric served as the Chief Operations Officer for Dignity Health Medical Group where he oversaw all clinical and ancillary operations to achieve service delivery and standard-of-care goals. Eric increased commercial growth by 10% and developed a strategy to integrate both employed and non-employed physicians in a clinically integrated network as part of a highly successful 3-year financial turnaround plan.
Eric was also integral in the growth of The CORE Institute and helped improve operational performance and facilitate national expansion. During his first 10-years with the organization, Eric recruited and onboarded over 100 providers, and oversaw over 20% growth, year over year. Eric was also tapped to serve as the inaugural CEO of The CORE Institute Specialty Hospital.
Eric obtained his MBA and Master of Science in Health Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver and resides on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Public Health Association.
