Executive Vice President of Performance Excellence and Administration
Valerie Eaton serves as HOPCo’s Executive Vice President of Performance Excellence and Administration. She is responsible for assisting the CEO and supporting the leadership team with development, management and execution of strategic plans and activities for the Company’s near and long-term strategies and targets.
Eaton’s extensive experience in the healthcare industry spans a decade. Prior to joining HOPCo, Eaton served as Director of Business Operations at Centene Corporation, where she was the Arizona product lead for the Marketplace and Medicare lines of Business and formerly the Director of Implementation. Eaton led the Health Net Access Medicaid acquisition including system migration and transition of resources to Centene. She also led the Arizona Marketplace expansion that resulted in a membership increase from 20K to 112K members during open enrollment.
She previously worked for Caremore Health Systems to implement a collaborative partnership at Emory Healthcare by launching chronic care clinics and their acute/post-acute extensivist model. Before Caremore, Eaton worked as the Strategic Consultant to the Humana Medicare Market President to pursue initiatives to improve healthcare outcomes for their members.
Eaton earned her bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University and completed her master’s degree from University of Phoenix. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
