Chief Value Officer
Dr. Jason Scalise serves as Chief Value Officer at Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company (HOPCo), where he plays a strategic leadership role in advancing the organization’s mission to deliver scalable, high-value musculoskeletal care across the country. He oversees value-based care initiatives and drives technology and innovation programs aimed at improving clinical efficiency, operational performance, cost savings, and patient outcomes.
A nationally recognized orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Scalise is board certified and fellowship-trained in complex reconstructive and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and was awarded the Cleveland Clinic Innovation Award. Dr. Scalise is also a recognized authority on payor reform and value-based care models. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and has presented his research on both national and international stages. A former President of the Arizona Orthopedic Society, he is a frequent contributor, speaker, and thought leader on healthcare reform, musculoskeletal innovation, and the future of orthopedic delivery systems.
