Chief Corporate Development Officer

Peter Slate serves as HOPCo’s Chief Corporate Development Officer, responsible for leading the company’s strategic growth initiatives, M&A activity, and development of national and regional partnerships with health systems, provider groups, payors, and industry partners. 
 
With a background that spans private equity, healthcare operations, and corporate finance, Slate has been instrumental in structuring joint ventures, executing provider alignment strategies, and scaling HOPCo’s value-based delivery platform nationally. He played a key role in expanding HOPCo’s partnerships across multiple states and has led capital formation and acquisition strategies supporting HOPCo’s multisite growth. 
 
Prior to joining HOPCo, Slate held senior executive roles in venture-backed healthcare companies and served as Managing Director of an investment banking firm focused on healthcare M&A and restructuring. His experience includes managing transaction pipelines, performing diligence, and driving post-deal integration. 
 
He holds a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.A. in economics and political science from the University of Michigan. He is also a board advisor to several early-stage healthcare companies.
