Chief Corporate Development Officer

Peter Slate currently serves as HOPCo’s Chief Corporate Development Officer. He is a seasoned healthcare professional with experience in several senior executive positions with public and private companies.

Prior to joining HOPCo, Slate was the U.S. Managing Director of ElMindA, Ltd., a neuro-technology company based in Tel Aviv, Israel, with a novel platform for the diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders. Prior to ElMindA, Slate was the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bonovo Orthopedics, Inc., an international provider of orthopedic products, with offices throughout China and Europe. He was also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DragonTech International, one of the leading manufacturers of protective work wear in the U.S.

Slate previously served as the founding Chief Executive Officer of Arizona Technology Enterprises (AzTE), a company dedicated to creating medical device and technology-based start-ups. AzTE has been recognized as one of the most innovative technology transfer models in the U.S. He practiced as a corporate attorney with the law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, securities and private equity transactions. Slate has also held senior positions with Baxter International Inc. and Primecare International, Inc., a physician practice management company.

Slate has served on a number of corporate and non-profit Boards and as a strategic advisor to companies in Asia, Europe and Israel.
